I LOVE MUM!
The discovery channel was showing newborns so I cheekily asked Mum if that was how her children looked like. And who looked Blur-er during birth? Me or Arin?
"That's how babies look like in general" My mom explained. "In any case you're a ceasarean baby, did u noe dat?"
*I nodded semi-laterally; not the most convincing of responses*
"Arin's by normal birth, which was easier because it only hurts during the pushing (typical - always the easy way out). But for a ceasarean, they'd cut you up (at which point she mimics an incision with her forefinger moving down her groin) and afterwards you wouldn't move a muscle without screaming." She continued.
"Owerqxijcvek..." I squealed something unintelligible. My right eye twitched. Right cheek followed suit.
"I was in ICU for 2 days after your birth. I was in a coma." Mummy finished off quite matter-of-factly, her attention still on the box.
*Eyes / mouth wide open, right hand holding groin, eyes fixed on HER*
Coma. I almost forgot about that part.
So much for being cheeky.
